About

Floyd and Betsy Stutzman have spent their lives tending the same land that Floyd’s great-grandfather did over a century ago. What started as a family homestead in 1907 has grown into one of the Wenatchee Valley’s most beloved U-Pick destinations – and it’s still very much a family operation.

Floyd manages the orchard day-to-day, from pruning in the early spring to the busy harvest weeks of fall. Betsy keeps everything running at the fruit stand, greeting the families, regulars, and first-timers who make the drive out each season.

They’re proud of what they grow here: cherries, peaches, nectarines, apples, pears, Asian pears, grapes – all picked at their peak and sold straight from the orchard.

A Fourth-Generation Orchard

The Stutzman Ranch has been in the family since 1907, when Floyd’s great-grandfather established himself in the Wenatchee Valley. The Columbia River basin’s dry summers, fertile soil, and cool nights create ideal conditions for tree fruit – and four generations of the Stutzman family have taken full advantage of it.

The ranch has grown and changed over the decades, but the commitment to growing quality fruit and welcoming the general public to pick it themselves has stayed the same.
